Möbius Partners Named To Hispanic Business 500 List

Möbius Partners Enterprise Solutions, a computer reseller for HP and Sun Microsystems that specializes in enterprise-level solutions, today announced it was named to the Hispanic Business 500 for the fourth consecutive year. The Hispanic Business 500, sponsored by Hispanic Business magazine, is an annual listing of the 500 largest Hispanic-owned companies in the U.S., ranked by revenues.

This year, Möbius Partners ranked number 249, placing fifth on the list of nine San Antonio companies to make the list. To be considered for the Hispanic Business 500, companies must show at least 51 percent ownership by U.S. Hispanic citizens and must be headquartered in the U.S. Hispanic Business research staff compiled data for the 25th annual listing of the 500 largest Hispanic-owned companies in the U.S. from forms submitted by the companies.

Widely recognized as the barometer of the U.S. Hispanic economy, the June 2007 issue of Hispanic Business magazine takes a look back at the growth of the Hispanic Business 500. In this year’s listing, the total number of companies stands at 500 and boasts total revenues of $36.6 billion, an increase of almost 1,000 percent from the initial listing. Florida now tops the list with 125 companies, followed by California (104) and Texas (74). Companies now must show revenues of more than $5 million just to make the HB500.
